AGENDA OF THE REPRESENTATIONS TO THE HON. MR. T.A.CRERAR: JUNE 4TH, 1943
1) Statement of the representations made by the Canadian Jewish Congress to the Prime Minister and analysis of the correspondence exchanged between the Department of External Affairs and the President of the Canadian Jewish Congress.
2) The opportunity for Canada to give the lead to the rest of the world in offering asylum privileges for refugees.
3) Specific cases where practical measures can be initiates:
a. Children in Spain and Portugal
b. Yugoslavian Jews in Italy
c. Guarantees to Spain, Portugal and Turkey that Canada will agree to accept a certain number of these neutral countries allow them intransiently.
4) Internees:
a. Problem of balance of internees in camp without special skills and the anxiety of the committee to see these people free
b. Feasibility of supplying for change of immigration status.
