What an Amazing Feat!

Thousands of people celebrated the start of the construction of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights by leaving imprints of their hands and feet at the Museum’s “Amazing Feet” event at the Forks in Winnipeg from June 18-21, 2009.
People of all ages and from all places (including England, Nunavut and Sweden) – and even some members of Canada’s rock group Marianas Trench – participated in person and online. The hand and foot prints will now form part of the museum’s history as they are buried in a time capsule underneath the museum’s walkway.
Thank you for celebrating with us this amazing feat (pun intended) and becoming a part of the history of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights!
Big hands and big hearts!
