On Sunday, June 20^th, 2010, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights was honoured to welcome Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada and Mr. Jean-Daniel Lafond during their visit to Winnipeg.  Following a meeting representatives of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, of which the Governor General is Honourary President, Their Excellencies visited the construction site of the future museum.
